State Statute 493 Regulates the Private Investigative and Private Security Industry in Florida.
We
proudly adhere to both the spirit and the letter of Florida
State Statute 493, which governs our Profession. We will NEVER put our license to do business in jeopardy by acting contrary to
the licensing laws of our State!
Coming soon: Georgia license!
|
We are in the application process for licensure in the State of Georgia and expect to have this license in hand
by the spring of 2007. That license will also be posted for review when received.
A word about "Reciprocity"
|
You may hear an Investigator say they are "O.K. to work in Florida" because they have a license
from another state, and that other state has "Reciprocity with Florida". BEWARE!
While
a few other states do have reciprocal agreements with Florida, make sure you understand the LEGAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE STATES.
In every instance, an Investigator not licensed in Florida may ONLY conduct investigations in Florida if certain defined conditions
are met, such as:
- Investigator followed the subject across state lines into Florida
- Investigator
has a properly executed application for licensure pending in Florida
- THE CASE ORIGINATED IN FLORIDA
Why
put your case in the hands of an Investigator not properly licensed, only to have illegally obtained evidence quashed?
Our Investigators are full C licensed, insured, experienced PROFESSIONALS!
